Alfred Smalls went to bed early one September night because he had to work a double shift in the morning. He always slept soundly, but that night he was awakened at 3:15AM. Hearing a noise he turned on his light and saw a man he did not recognize standing at the foot of his bed, holding the latest issue of TIME magazine, which had just arrived that day.
“Who are you? What do you want?” Alfred demanded.
The strange figure looked at Alfred and said:
“Frozen raspberries are low in sugar, so for anyone who wants to lose weight, this makes them a smarter choice than a banana or a mango. Also, they are a good source of vitamin C.”
Then he disappeared. His message haunted Alfred for many years to come.
